I have experience working with a variety of sexual issues and concerns as a therapist. The types of issues I frequently work with include problems with sexual functioning and/or responding, sexual assault and abuse, sexual trauma, trust and intimacy issues, arousal difficulties, sexual orientation concerns, erectile dysfunction, gender identity, lack of sexual desire, pleasing your partner, understanding how your body works, communicating sexual needs, self-esteem and body image. I enjoy working with diverse populations, including individuals and couples in the LGBTQ Community and the BDSM Community.
No matter what the issue, I am confident that I can help you resolve your sexual concerns. My approach to treatment is holistic, nonjudgmental, and sex positive. In general, I work from a strengths-based perspective. My treatment interventions include, but are not limited to: Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Body-oriented Psychotherapy, and Group Psychotherapy. I have also completed 40 hours of training in Imago Relationship Therapy, and hope to complete the remaining hours of training in the near future.
